MN Alumni potluck

Last Tuesday, June 19th, we were thrilled to attend the Minnesota up with people alumni potluck at Minnehaha Park. It was a classic midwestern sendoff of the five new students, and the two of us-- incredible homemade dishes, good people, good fun. We heard from Kaylee DeGraff, Minnesota's newest UwP alumna, about her wide range of experiences from last semester, as she had just returned from Thailand with Cast A 2007. We greatly appreciated all the alumni that were able to come out and share their support and excitement for our upcoming travels. They sent us off with U of M water bottles, well wishes and thoughtful advice. It was a pleasure for Scott and I to get a chance to meet and chat with the new students: Andrew, Andrea, Meghan, Abby and Netta. They have a 50/50 chance of being lucky enough to travel with us!
